If you have a chronic health condition, you may be eligible for Exercise Physiology visits subsidised by Medicare through a chronic condition management plan with your doctor. These plans allow you to receive up to 5 allied health visits per calendar year to help manage your chronic health condition.

You do not need a referral for Exercise Physiology appointments if you are paying privately. Ask your private health insurance provider if you have cover to claim a rebate for Exercise Physiology services.
